Elite Expands Polythene Conversion Capabilities

As part of Elite's rigorous investment programme for 2016 a key objective has been to expand our already industry leading conversion capabilities.
Already an industry powerhouse for polythene conversion, being able to produce a vast array of converted products ranging from large perforated pallet covers and furniture covers to small and simple side welded and bottom welded bags Elite Plastics always strives to ensure that we can convert almost any customer requirement and deliver a finished high quality polythene product as cost effectively as possible.
The objective to fully have our new conversion capability investment in place by mid 2016 has been achieved and is already being fully utilised. The investment included new conversion machines with improved efficiency, quality and capability and upgrading existing conversion lines to expand their existing conversion capabilities.
A particular focus of the investment was to widen our mailing bag conversion capabilities which now include;
> Perforated tear-line in-between double seal strips for simpler end user bag opening
> Lateral seal and handle so end users can carry the mailing bags like an ordinary shopping bag to better display printed branding
This drive now ensures Elite Plastics will remain as an industry leading Mailing Bag manufacturer to the retail industry.
